Copyright / Takedown
Last updated: 29 April 2026
PodSplit takes copyright seriously. If you believe content processed by PodSplit infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to the address below and we will respond within 7 days.
What to include in a takedown notice
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- The PodSplit job URL or output filename, plus the source YouTube URL the user submitted.
- Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner.
- A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What we do
On receipt of a complete notice, we will:
- Remove the affected output files from our storage.
- Notify the user who submitted the original URL.
- Suspend the user's account if a pattern of infringement emerges.
Counter-notice
If you are a PodSplit user and your output has been removed under a takedown notice you believe to be mistaken, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address with the same identifying information plus a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that repeatedly submit URLs subject to valid takedown notices will be terminated.
